Field Recordings

Sounds pressed and labelled like botanical specimens.

Rain on a tin roof at 04:12.

A dawn chorus at 05:31.

Wind through long grass with one cricket.

Each recording is drawn as a spectrogram, a picture of sound with time across and pitch up, filed beside an engraved specimen and a label.

The plates are numbered as a series.

Plate 07, Dawn Chorus: a spectrogram above an engraved singing wren and a specimen label
